Because I had such a massive buffet meal so late in the day yesterday, I didn't have much of a breakfast this morning. I ended up having a tea and half of a waffle before calling it quits. I also needed to leave lots of room in my stomach for another all you can eat sushi meal as I celebrated Mother's Day with my family!
So far, I haven't been hungry to eat anything after eating so much this weekend! I had a few small pieces of toffee, but that might be all I have tonight. I have eaten more than enough this weekend between the two heavy Mother's Day meals!
I opted to spend as much time with family and friends as I possibly could this weekend, so I had to put my workouts aside for a few days. I spent a lot of time walking Zeke with Casey and hiking through the trails around our apartment complex.
I don't feel upset at all having missed the gym because I had so much fun spending time with friends and family! I know I will have plenty of time this week to get back into routine and get to the gym. I like to think of it as instead of focusing my energy on my body this weekend, I chose to focus my energy on my mind and soul!
