Last night, I prepped my lunch that I would be eating at work today. I made an Asian sesame 7 grain salad. I used a 7 grain blend and added in cucumber, red onion, orange bell pepper, imitation crab meat, and edamame.
I made this huge salad filled with protein and veggies, and ate it all for lunch. It was amazing and super filling!
After a long day at work and a quick trip to the grocery store to pick up a few things I missed during my weekly grocery shopping trip, it was finally time for dinner! Casey and I were feeling like having breakfast for dinner, so we made pancakes...one regular batch for Casey and a batch of gluten free pancakes for me.
Mine turned out amazing! They tasted very similar to regular pancakes and were light and fluffy. This was a generic gluten free pancake mix I picked up from the Bulk Barn to test out. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be going back to pick up some more soon!
I headed to the gym after dinner to get in some bicep, tricep and shoulder work in. I started off with a 20 minute HIIT warm up on the elliptical. Then I did some basic exercises to work on those specific muscle groups. I also did some bosu push ups to strengthen my biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest and core. This is such an amazing workout that works so many muscle groups while also helping develop good balance. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Now I'm spending the rest of the evening getting caught up on the latest season of Hell's Kitchen...a show I haven't watched in so long! Do you like the show? Quite frankly, I find it a little ridiculous, but also very entertaining!
