Today was one of the first days where I felt like I was taking a vacation. Despite having three weeks off from school, I've been rushing around like crazy and not taking very much "me" time. I was lazy all day and it felt great. I didn't even give myself a chance to feel guilty for not going to the gym despite plans on going anyway. Well, here was my lazy vacation day!
Breakfast
I slept in again this morning and wasn't feeling hungry for breakfast until after taking Zeke for a long walk and starting a few loads of laundry. When I was ready to eat, I had two small whole wheat flax carrot muffins that I made last night. They were delicious!
I also had a mug of Forever Nuts from David's Tea. Mmm, what a sweet and tasty way to star the day!
Lunch/Snack
Since I had such a late breakfast, lunch consisted of snacks instead of a cohesive meal. I shared a bowl of Smart Pop popcorn while Casey and I watched the movie Butter. I broke out the dill pickle seasoning for the popcorn as well.
I snacked throughout the afternoon and had half of a mini pizza as an afternoon snack.
Dinner
Dinner tonight was a potluck celebration for one of the instructors that will soon be leaving the therapeutic riding barn. I filled my plate with delicious healthy foods, but also enjoyed a few yummy treats for dessert!
Today was a great day to relax and I'm hoping to continue this stress-free living tomorrow!
