Studying and Sweating

Breakfast

I wanted to try a new kind of oatmeal for breakfast this morning. I picked up a box of Wheat Free Instant Oatmeal while grocery shopping this weekend and was excited to see how it tasted.


It turned out really well! It was just as good as regular instant oatmeal and kept me full all morning. In fact, I was so full that I had to save my banana for lunch because I couldn't finish both for breakfast!



Lunch

I had a proctoring shift this afternoon, which provided a good opportunity for me to get in some studying. I also brought with me two caramel rice cakes and a banana to munch on for lunch. It didn't quite fill me up, but it was all I had. Oh well!



Dinner

After a seemingly endless shift at work, a drive out of the city to my family doctor for an appointment, then a long drive back into the city, I was exhausted and ready for dinner. I ended up grabbing a meal on the go to fill my grumbly tummy. It wasn't the best decision, but I'm not going to dwell!

Workout

I had a lot of studying to do tonight, so I brought it all to the gym. I ended up studying while pounding it out on the elliptical for 40 minutes. I some intense rolling hills on the elliptical and really worked up a sweat! Afterwards, I did 20 minutes of ab work on the floor then another 15 minutes to stretch out all of my muscles. I'm really starting to appreciate stretching and how good it feels for my body!

Now it's time for me to hit the hay. I have to be up really early tomorrow! Have a great night everyone!
