New Jacket

Breakfast

I had a great sleep last night and decided to brave the cold to make myself a smoothie. I blended up one frozen banana, half a cup of frozen blueberries, a cup of unsweetened almond milk, and half a scoop of vanilla protein powder.

I wish these pictures could do the smoothie justice. It looked incredible after it was all blended and was such a pretty shade of pale purple. Fortunately, it tasted just as good as it looked!

Morning Snack

My morning snack consisted of a tea that I brought with me to class, along with some multigrain baked pretzels that I munched on after a chiropractor to soothe an upset stomach.

On my way to class from the chiropractor's office, I rode a very empty bus to school. I've never been on a bus that was empty before...it was such an eerie feeling!

Lunch

Once I had my appetite back, I ate a delicious concoction for a late lunch. I threw together some small brussel sprouts, chicken meatballs, quinoa and cherry sauce. It was such a great combination! The meatballs stayed chewy and tender, while the brussel sprouts kept their crunch without going completely soggy. I'll definitely be repeating this meal next week!

Dinner

I didn't have much of a dinner tonight. I ended up buying a raisin bran muffin from Tim Horton's during class because I didn't have time to cook my sweet potato. I also had a piece of toast when I got home from class, after I did a little coat shopping.

New Coat

I FINALLY found a coat that I like to replace my poor old coat that has seen better days. I bought this little TNA jacket at Aritzia. It was quite a bit more than I had hoped to spend on a new jacket; however, it was exactly what I was looking for and should withstand the test of time (fingers crossed)!

What do you guys think?!

Questions?
Do you ever sacrifice spending a little more on a product you know will last or that you really like?
How much would you spend on a jacket?
