Hungry Monkey

Breakfast

Today was my active rest day for the week, but somehow I felt hungrier than ever! I tried my best to keep my appetite under control. I had a plate of mini pancakes and orange slices for breakfast with a glass of lemon water on the side.



Morning Snack

I spent my morning walking Zeke for a walk, stopping in at the chiropractor's office, and catching up on readings. I munched on some protein "cookie dough" while I read, which is simply vanilla protein powder mixed with peanut butter and a tiny bit of honey.


Lunch

After a quick two hour class, it was time for lunch. I munched on a small sweet potato, some honey flavoured Greek yogurt with strawberry slices, and some multigrain pretzels.


Dinner

I had four hours of class after lunch, so I was more than elated to be home. I was also starving, so I made myself two small homemade pizzas with a side of steamed asparagus. I made my pizza out of two small whole wheat tortillas, orange bell peppers, red onion, and light mozzarella cheese. I dipped them in salsa to round out the "nacho" aspect. Yum!



It's been a very long day and now it's time for me to get to bed! Good night!
