HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Breakfast
I woke up and felt the need for protein this morning. I had two over easy eggs with one slice of toast for breakfast, along with plenty of water. I don't often wake up thirsty, but I sure did this morning!
Lunch
I wanted to get in some veggies at lunch and I had plenty of small whole wheat tortillas to use up before they went bad. I made myself one and a half quesedillas and fille them with onions, peppers, and a bit of light mozzarella cheese. I also ate a boatload of salsa with my quesedillas, which I'm sure if at least one serving of vegetables on its own!
As I've been doing a lot lately, I wrote study notes as I ate my lunch. I'm pretty much doing non-stop homework by this point, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Two more weeks!
Stress Relief
There's no better way to relieve stress than to relax with your horse. I ended up taking the afternoon off to see Ginny who is feeling a little sore lately. We had a nice pampering session, followed by several hours of relaxing in the stall. I told her all about what I needed to study for Friday's test...everything from precision teaching to direct instruction. Call me crazy, but I think it actually helped me solidify some key concepts!
Oh, and I also brought with me a free small coffee from McDonald's. It wasn't too bad and I think I actually like McDonald's coffee better than Tim Horton's coffee!
Workout
My workout today was an incredibly muscle-engaging show jumping development lesson on my favourite jumper pony, Billy! We did a lot of work with engaging the hind end and keeping the horse between your hand and your leg, so my legs, abs and arms are killing me already. It was such a great workout! We even got to jump high and very wide jumps. Six feet wide to be exact...the widest I've ever jumped!
Dinner
In the spirit of Halloween, I substituted any form of a nutritionally balanced dinner for CHOCOLATE! Casey and I munched away on chocolate
Pretty bad, I know! But come on...it's Halloween! Of course, I didn't stop the homework just because it was Halloween and I was eating chocolate. Nope, I ploughed right through that homework, chocolate in hand.
It's been a busy day and I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep. I hope all of that sugar doesn't keep me up all night!
Have a wonderful and safe Halloween!

I think I prefer McDonald's coffee over Tim's too....especially when it's free :)
can't go wrong with melted cheese and salsa.
