Parelli Success

Breakfast

Breakfast may not have been the most nutritional this morning, but it sure was colourful! I had two slices of whole wheat toast, one with raspberry jam and one with peach-apricot jam.

Morning Snack

I brought an apple and some Crispy Minis to school as my morning snack. I munched away while I was in class and sipped on some orange pekoe tea as well.

Lunch

I also brought a homemade pasta salad with me for lunch. I used a pre-packed seasoning kit, whole wheat noodles, and plenty of vegetables to make my pasta salad. It was delicious!

I also had a couple other things for lunch that went unphotographed, such as crab meat and yogurt.

Dinner

When I got home from a long day of classes, Casey had dinner all ready for us. We had roasted brussel sprouts with a hint of extra virgin olive oil and sea salt, and a filet of seasoned haddock. Everything was incredibly tasty!

We also had a small bowl of frozen berries with a Nesquik Plus chocolate syrup drizzle for dessert!

Workout

I had planned on going out to the barn to ride, but to due the thunder and lightning, we ended up doing groundwork instead. I started off with some basic groundwork with Ginny, then started to work on our rusty Parelli skills. We played Stick to Me for a while and Ginny ended up doing well! I think she even had fun!

We finished off with some more Parelli games, which were much better now than when we used to practice them all the time. It just goes to show how much the bond truly affects how well you and your horse are at Parelli. The bond itself strengthened our Parelli skills! I couldn't have asked for a better night and I love Ginny even more after our night of Parelli fun!
