House at the End of the Street

Breakfast

I had my second midterm of the week today, so I made sure to get up nice and early to review some material before heading off to class. I took Zeke for a quick walk before having a slice of cinnamon raisin French toast using only egg whites, and half a mug of Nescafe's instant skinny latte mix.

Lunch

After my exam, I stopped by Tim Horton's for a celebratory chocolate-glazed doughnut. Little did I know, I would be eating out a lot more than I had planned today! A few friends and I decided to grab some lunch and hang out at my apartment before parting ways. We stopped at Swiss Chalet for take-out; I ordered the hickory rotisserie chicken flatbread with a side of french fries.

Workout

After the girls left, I took Zeke on a nice long walk through the gorgeous trails around our apartment complex. I didn't have the energy to put in much of a workout today, but I did make sure to spend a good amount of time walking Zeke and enjoying all of the beautiful fall colours.

House at the End of the Street

Dinner consisted of some movie popcorn, a can of Diet A&W Root Beer and a slice of toast when I got home from the movie. My dad, sister and I went out to see House at the End of the Street, a horror/thriller starring Jennifer Lawrence.

I had high hopes for this movie, probably because I think Jennifer Lawrence can be a really talented actor. However, this movie fell terribly short of incredible. The plot was okay, but the editting was less than stellar. It wasn't scary at all and not even jumpy. The end did have a neat little twist, but nothing worth celebrating. All in all, it was a fun movie to see, but I wouldn't pay to see it in theatres again.

Question:
What movies have you seen in theatres recently?
Have you see House at the End of the Street?
Did you like it or not?
