Good morning! Yesterday just flew by and I have so much to show you. I'd better get started...brace yourselves for a flood of photos!
I'll start out from where I left off yesterday. I brought a pasta salad for my lunch break yesterday; however, I did a little revamping of the storemade salad.
I added in half of a large tomato to the Summer Fresh Tomato Basil Calprese Salad and threw out their yucky-tasting mini cherry tomatoes.
I also cut up and added in three pieces of imitation crab meat for protein. With the addition of half a tomato and all of that crab, this pasta salad bowl turned into quite a filling (and delicious) lunch!
After work, Casey and I finally went grocery shopping to restock our empty kitchen. One of the items that was on sale this week were breaded buffalo chicken burgers. They were $5.00 off!
They may not be the healthiest option, but I can never resist a good buffalo chicken burger! This one was fantastic!
We also munched away at some fresh watermelon after finishing our buffalo chicken sandwiches.
Finally, it was time for the bonfire with friends! We had such a blast eating and drinking late into the night. It feels so good to spend time with friends before the rush of school starts back up!
Casey and I slept in this morning before taking Zeke on a relaxing 45 minute walk. When we got back, it was time for breakfast! We toasted our respective slices of whole wheat cinnamon raisin bread slices and topped them with some Vegan Becel Margarine. I haven't tried it before, but it tastes just like any other margarine...plus it's lactose-free!
We also munched on even more watermelon after eating our toast. Now, it's time to get down to business. We need to finish painting our living room and finish several other chores around the house. That's what Sundays are for, right?
Questions:
What do you do on a typical Sunday?
Do you use Sundays to relax or to prepare for the week ahead?
