Breakfast
I woke up feeling quite under the weather this mornig. All my stomach wanted was carbs, otherwise it felt really nauseous. I had a headcold yesterday that turned into a full-blown cold overnight complete with low fever and nausea. Fun stuff! I made myself two slices of cinnamon raisin toast with margarine for breakfast and that was it.
Morning Snack
When I got to school this morning, my incredibly lovely friends had bought me three chocolate glazed Timbits to cheer me up. Of course I accepted the kind gesture and gobbled them all up. Yummy!
Lunch
After class, I headed home to make some lunch. I wanted something warm to sooth my throat and head, but we didn't have any soup on hand. Instead, I microwaved a can of vegetarian brown beans and ate them with a side of broccoli salad.
The beans worked really well and made my throat feel better.
The broccoli salad, on the other hand, did the complete opposite. I think it was the vinegar in the dressing that hurt my throat. I ended up eating the salad first, then eating the brown beans to sooth my throat.
Afternoon Snack
After a quick trip to the doctor's for a check-up (how ironic that I end up being sick on the same day!), Casey and I went out on a quick shopping trip to pick up a few professional pants to wear once I start going out in the field. Our trip was successful and we even bought a venti non-fat no-whip half-sweet salted caramel mocha from Starbucks to share.
Dinner
Let's be honest, when I'm feeling totally crappy, we are funning out of time to make dinner, and we're standing next to an A&W...my willpower is gone. We ended up picking up dinner and bringing it home instead of making something at 7pm. I ordered a diet root beer, a teen burger, and a side of fries. Casey ordered onion rings with his burger, so we ended up splitting both of our sides in half.
I ended up eating half of the onion rings and a bit of the fries, leaving Casey to enjoy the rest. They were pretty good, I must say! It certainly was a nice treat!
Workout
Due to my cold, working out was not an option today. I didn't want to pass out on the treatmill or throw up on the free weights. Instead, I took it easy at home and played with Zeke. We also took him our for quite a long walk before getting ready for bed. That was about all the exercise I got today!
Questions:
What do you prefer to eat when you're under the weather?
Do you ever go to the gym even though you're sick?
Where do you draw the line to exercise or not when you're sick?

I feel like poo too! Let's blame someone in STarbucks today. And I dug into some bacon with my kale/turkey tonight. And a shit ton (for lack of a better word) of chocolate and coffee. Bedtime at 10pm is my last resort...
oh my gosh cutest dog picture! I hope you are feeling better, I hate those days and like you I usually let myself enjoy some kind of treat.
