Tuesday is another day where I can sleep in a little later than usual. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I don't start class until 10am, like the 8am start for the rest of the week. I woke up gradually and was able to take Zeke for a nice little walk before sitting down to breakfast.
I made myself a bowl of Special K Oats & Honey cereal with skim milk and a peanut butter drizzle on top. I didn't feel like preparing anything more than that this morning.
Although I didn't snap a picture of my actual lunch today, I did manage to remember to take a picture of what I was planning on having. I threw about 2/3 of Dole Southwest Salad Mix into a container so I could eat it at school! I also had some grapes and trail mix as my morning snack, plus three pieces of imitation crab at lunch for protein.
Casey and I picked up some jumbo freezies on sale at the grocery store yesterday and froze a few overnight. I was super excited to get home from class so I could try one!
Crush Cream Soda is always my favourite flavour, so naturally I grabbed one of the cream soda popsicles. It was delicious! I think we're going to have to freeze these only a few at a time so I don't eat them all at once!
I ate dinner alone tonight. Casey had to head out to his parent's place and I stayed home to read, plus hang out with Zekey. I made myself a super easy dinner of multigrain tortilla chips, extra chunky salsa, and steamed asparagus.
At least my plate was colourful! And I still count a big bowl of salsa as a serving of vegetables. So really...my plate was full of veggies tonight!
I put a little bit of steak and chicken seasoning on my asparagus just to see how it would taste. It actually tasted pretty good and was much more flavourful than regular salt or butter. I think I'll have to keep trying this spice mix on all of my cooked vegetables!
After eight hours of classes, I didn't feel like putting in much of a workout today. Instead, the three of us went out for a nice hour-long walk in the evening to burn off some of Zeke's extra energy. I feel like there may be many of these days in the future, particularly on Mondays and Tuesdays where I have eight-hour days!
