Breakfast
First of all, I'd like to apologize for leaving you all hanging yesterday. I was just worn right out and needed to take a night off. I was studying all day for an exam I had this morning and completely burnt the candle at both ends. I ended up going to bed at 8:30pm and slept like a baby. Unfortunately, my cold wasn't gone this morning, but it's slowly getting a little bit better.
I woke up this morning and made myself a simple breakfast of whole wheat toast and jam to settle my stomach. My throat was pretty sore, so I made sure to keep the toast very light brown so it wouldn't scratch my throat when I swallowed it.
Lunch
After a very long morning that included a midterm and a lecture, my friends and I were ready to relax and have a nice sit-down lunch together. We went to East Side Mario's where I ordered the unlimited soup, salad and breaksticks lunch option. I ended up eating two garden salads...
...a few slices of garlic bread, and half of my Italian wedding soup. I didn't love the soup, but everything else was fantastic...everything including Nicole's mad bread-cutting skills!
Afternoon Snack
After doing some observational work for school, I got a ride home from Casey and discovered that he was just about as drained as I was. We ended up stopping at Shopper's Drug Mart for both cold medicine and some snacks to cheer us up. We got a big bag of pretzel M&M's to munch on during the drive home.
Dinner
We spent dinner in box seats at a London Knight's game this evening. The company Casey works for has an employee appreciation night every year where the employees get free box seats to a London Knight's Game with dinner on the house. I tagged along with Casey and we ended up eating some pizza, chicken fingers, chicken wings, veggies and dip, and cookies for dinner. It was fun, but we were both pretty exhausted and left after second period. We ended up hanging out with some friends after the game then went home to get a good night's sleep.
I have to be up early tomorrow to see my favourite little Ginnybean who I haven't seen in what feels like decades, but has actually only been a week. Nonetheless, even a week is far too long to be away from her. I'm hoping for a nice re-bonding session tomorrow and a good schooling session to get us both bath in shape. I hope my cold is better by then!
Goodnight everyone and sleep tight!
