Breakfast
I finally feel like all of my meals were on point today! I was pleased with everything I ate and I didn't feel hungry throughout the day. I even stayed away from my usual boring meals that I've been experiencing lately...call it a foodie slump!
I made myself a slice of cinnamon raisin toast with margarine for breakfast, along with a side of Greek yogurt and a banana.
Lunch
As for lunch, it did come pre-packaged...however, I did change it up a bit! I bought a southwest salad kit at the grocery store, but made it my own by adding in some crab, and taking out the cheese and sour cream. I also had an apple on the side and even a chocolate Tim Bit as an afternoon treat!
Dinner
Dinner had to be the best meal of the day today. I had Casey cook us up some dinner so it would be ready when I got home from class. He can be such an incredible cook when he puts his mind to it! We had some Szechwan pineapple chicken bites with roasted butternut squash.
We baked some PC Blue Menu flaxseed breaded chicken bites before coating them in Schezwan sauce mixed with a bit of pineapple sauce. They turned out delicious and I just can't seem to get enough!
Casey also roasted the butternut squash by dicing it up, coating it in a light coating of cooking spray, pepper and brown sugar, then roasted them in the oven at 425 degrees F for 45 minutes.
We also had some frozen mixed berries with Nesquik Plus Chocolate Syrup for dessert. What a perfect way to end an incredible day!
Workout
I planned to take today off from working out because of the race yesterday, as well as my busy night I had tonight. I did manage to fit in a good stretch session to loosen my tight muscles and also take Zeke out for a couple nice long walks. It's getting pretty cold out though, so a certain somebody might need to start wearing his sweaters again!
Questions:
What was your day like today?
Were you on point, food or exercise-wise?
What can you do differently tomorrow to make it an extra special day?

I think I was pretty on point, I am already pretty conscious of the nutrition of my food, it's just the quantity of food that I need to be most careful of! As always, grad school, cleaning and making sure the pup is walked and happy have cut in to my workout time, so it looks like another late night workout session!
Oh I LOVEEEE squash. There's some waiting for my in my fridge that I already chopped up. How long 'til breakfast?!
Also...you should eat a banana every day. To stay true to your name. I'm kidding. But that thought came to me...
I seriously love butternut squash, this time of year I am always looking forward to it.
