A Horsey Kind of Morning

Workout

Yesterday, I spent my morning out at the barn riding and admiring the beauties of the farm. I woke up with the sun and was out at the barn just as the sun was rising. It was a beautiful morning!

I spent some time goofing around with Ginny before taking her inside to get in a good ride. This was the first active thing I've done all week because of this terrible cold. I felt great being back in the saddle and active again, but I still need to take it slow. My lungs still haven't fully recovered.

It was so nice to see Ginny again after a week of not being out to see her. She makes me smile every time I see her pretty face!

Breakfast

I didn't have breakfast until after I got home from the barn. I wasn't hungry at all beforehand, so I waited until I got home around 10:30am to eat. I made myself two eggs and two pieces of whole wheat toast for breakfast, along with a medium sugar free vanilla iced coffee that I picked up on my way home from the barn.

Lunch

My day went a little haywire from there. I was studying all day, so I ended up snacking through lunchtime instead of having one set meal. I had four pieces of imitation crab with seafood sauce...

...a Kashi Fruit & Grain Dark Chocolate Coconut bar...

...and an open-faced buffalo chicken sandwich before heading off to work for the night.

Dinner

Dinner ended up being rather non-existent because I worked right through the dinner hour, but I ended up having a small hamburger at a friend's house after work and about my weight in Lay's Salt & Vinegar Chips. They were delicious, but it was certainly a case of stress eating.

Now it's time for me to get back to studying before heading off to work again. Wish me luck!
