Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

After my workout mentioned in my previous post, I had a small post-workout snack. I tore a small whole wheat tortilla shell in half and wrapped it around half of a banana with a tablespoon of light cream cheese.


My second favourite snack of all time...next to my apple slices and mozzarella cheese! What's with my weird obsession with fruit and cheese?


After doing some laundry, Casey and I made chicken burgers for dinner. We didn't have any hamburger buns, so we used up some old hotdog buns from the freezer.


I ate one chicken burger cut in half with lettuce and light mayonnaise on a hotdog bun.


It was surprisingly delicious, although I forgot how pastey white bread can get when eaten with something hot like a chicken burger. Oh well, it was our only option!


Now it's time for me to get ready and head on over to a friend's house to watch the previously-aired Team Show Jumping Finals. I've been protecting my ears and eyes all day so I don't find out the results before I have a chance to watch the full finals. I can't wait!

Simple is delicous! And I love pears and cheese. And just about anything with nut butter... mmmm!
