You know you got a good workout in the day before when the next day you get that "day after" feeling! My plyometric countdown workout that I did yesterday may not have been very long, but I'm feeling it in every inch of my lower body today.
My glutes hurt, my calves are tight, my quads are sore... Looks like I better do some serious stretching this morning!
In the meantime, I made sure I started today off on the right foot with a healthy balanced breakfast. First, lots of water!
I made myself a bowl of protein-packed oatmeal by combining one and a half packets of Quaker Cinnamon & Spice Oatmeal with 1/4 cup of egg whites and a splash of water. I simply microwaved it for roughly two and a half minutes and it was ready to eat!
I also had a bowl of mandarin oranges on the side for some vitamin C action.
And now it's time to me to head to work. See you all back here for lunch!
