Ribfest, The Sequel

Casey and I made it out to Ribfest for a second time this weekend once the skies cleared up and the sun came out. I loved my pulled pork sandwich so much last time that I ordered the same thing again...Casey followed suit! I managed to eat just over half of the sandwich before giving the rest to Casey.

We also brought Zeke along this time to enjoy all of the sights, sounds and smells of the park. He was super excited to be in a crowd again with lots of people to love on him. He would barely sit still, so this was the clearest photo I managed to take of the little goof!

After our pulled pork sandwiches, we headed out for a nice long walk around the downtown area in which we used to live. We walked for about an hour and a half, admiring the buildings. I took a few photos of the neighbourhood in which I've always dreamed about living. It's so picturesque and beautiful, but right downtown and close to plenty of shops.

Maybe someday we'll be able to fork over the cash it takes to purchase one of these pricey condos!

On our way home from Ribfest, we stopped by Dairy Queen for a cold treat. We were actually going to get frozen yogurt at Kiwi Kraze; however, it was closed for the day. Boo! That's alright, I ended up ordering a delicious mini-sized Strawberry Cheesequake Blizzard instead.

It was sweet with creamy chunks of cheesecake, and it was the perfect size! The mini size was the perfect amount of dessert for me.

I can't believe it's already eight o'clock! It looks like I might skip my workout for today and fit in a longer sweat session tomorrow. I'm still pretty lazy and I just want to relax for the rest of the night. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with the TV remote!
