Good morning little sunshines!
Casey and I started off out morning with a half hour walk through the paths around my apartment complex. I'm loving the crisp mornings we've been having lately, especially when they're paired with hot summer days!
When we got back home, I made myself a delicious breakfast. I wasn't exactly sure what to make at first, so I threw together two of the breakfast items I was craving--toast and a smoothie.
I made a piece of whole wheat toast and topped it with peach apricot jam. Deeelish!
I also blended up a small protein smoothie on the side. I threw together about 1/4 cup of frozen mixed berries, a handful of frozen baby spinach, half a scoop of Bodylogix vanilla protein powder, half a cup of pure carrot juice and half a cup of unsweetened almond milk.
The smoothie turned out really well despite it's funky colour and odd speckled look on top!
I'm off for my second day of supplying this week and I packed a delicious lunch that I'm actually really excited to eat. I have a garden salad topped with broccoli and a side of fig balsamic vinaigrette, and three fresh rolls with Sweet Thai Chili sauce for dipping. I stuffed my fresh rolls with imitation crab meat, shaved carrot, lettuce, and alfalfa sprouts.
