I sincerely apologies for the lack of blogging yesterday. Let's just say it wasn't one of my best days and it resulted in a bit of a meltdown. First, the kids at this school I'm supplying at are crazy...like off-the-wall, don't-listen-to-a-word-I-say CRAZY! I got home from work and I crashed. I slept on the couch for an hour and a halt until my riding lesson. All of my frustration from the day came out in a challenging lesson. I ended up breaking down in the lesson, but got it together in the end and walked away with a much greater insight and even some horse training knowledge.
I appreciate everyone who was patient with me yesterday--from Casey to my friends to my riding coach. I need to learn how to let work frustrations go and start with a clean slate once work is over. I'm keeping my chin up for a better day tooday. I don't have any plans after work, so Casey and I have a gym date to work out any frustrations that may arise today.
Alright, let's not dwell on the past or the negative. Today is a new day! I made myself a packet of maple and brown sugar Instant Cream of Wheat for breakfast, along with half a cup of mandarin oranges and a tall glass of iced coffee. I'm going to need it today!
I even used my bee bowl and funky spoon that I bought from the Clovermead Bee Farm to start my day off on a happy note!
Now it's time for me to head off to work. I'll snap some photos of my lunch before I go and share them with you tonight. Stay tuned!
Questions:
Do you ever bring frustrations home from work with you?
How do you manage rough days like mine?
