Horsing Around

Tonight, I had a wicked horseback riding lesson with my friend and riding buddy, Janine! The horse I ride, Billy, was feeling pretty frisky in the cool air and even tried to pull some of his old tricks on me. I loved it! I love horses with personality and spunk.

Janine's boyfriend came out with his fancy new camera to play photographer for the evening. To our delight, the photos turned out amazing! Here are just a few from the night...

After our confidence-boosting lesson, we went out to Kiwi Kraze to celebrate with frozen yogurt. Since I hadn't had dinner yet and it was approaching 9pm, I went all out!

I got strawberry cheesecake, kiwi kraze and creme brule frozen yogurt, and topped it with some chocolate-covered almonds, cookie dough pieces, Swedish berries, strawberries, kiwi pieces, sprinkles and whipped cream. Drool!

Shortly after getting home from our froyo date, I decided I should probably eat somewhat of a proper dinner before heading to bed in a few hours. I reheated a small bowl of Casey's delicious chili to munch on while I blogged. He makes his chili with lean ground chicken and lots of beans. It's my favourite way to eat chili!

It's time for me to get to bed. I have to work bright and early tomorrow, so I'd better start packing it in. Have a lovely night!
