Even when I'm sick, nauseous and feeling like eating nothing but bread and butter until I feel better, nutrition is key! I won't get better if I live off bread and butter for the next few days.
I made myself a highly nutritious smoothie for breakfast that was jam packed with all the vitamins I need to get better.
I blended up a handful of spinach, half a banana, half a cup of frozen blueberries, 3/4 cup of pure orange juice, and 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk.
I also had a slice of whole wheat toast and butter on the side to settle my stomach as I sipped on my cold-blasting smoothie.
I have to go into work today for a short five hour shift...although I'm sure it won't feel short feeling the way I do. After work, my only plans are to go and pick up a fan to circulate the air better in our apartment. It got so humid yesterday that the outside of our air conditioner started to freeze and now it isn't working as efficiently as it should be. Solution...a big fan to keep us cool until this humidity breaks!
