I'm so sorry with my lack of posting. I've been having some serious technical difficulties lately. First, my primary camera has stopped reading my only memory card. There is something wrong with that memory card because my camera did read a micro SD converter card. To make a long story short, I won't be able to use my regular camera until I buy a new memory card. In addition, I haven't had time to install the driver to read my big SLR camera. And just to put the cherry on top, my camera wasn't sending the photos I had taken today to my computer, leaving me in a bit of a jam right before heading off to work this morning.
When I got home from work, I managed to find a way to send my camera pictures to my computer. Wahoo! So, here are the photos of my day.
I had apple slices and extra old cheddar cheese for my morning snack.
I made a smoothie to take with me to work for lunch. I blended together a banana, half a scoop of Bodylogix vanilla protein powder, half a cup of frozen blueberries, a handful of frozen baby spinach, half a cup of unsweetened almond milk, half a cup of water, and a handful of ice cubes.
I also brought to work with me a cherry Larabar to eat as my afternoon snack. I drank plenty of water during my shift at work to stay hydrated and to keep me from getting too hungry.
When I got home from work, Casey and I made pierogies for dinner. I topped my cheddar potato pierogies with some bacon bits and paired them with coleslaw with a hint of coleslaw dressing.
I had a second helping of coleslaw afterwards. I wanted to get in plenty of veggies tonight!
Casey and I are spending the evening in tonight. We're watching reruns of Destination Truth and munching on some Pretzel M&M's. Even factoring in the M&M's, I'm pretty happy with what I ate today. I tried to make every bite consciously and listen to my body's hunger signals.
Overall, it was a pretty good Canada Day! And now it's time to relax...have a good night!
