Lunch came in two parts today. I brought a small lunch with me to work to eat at 12:00pm and then I ate a small second lunch/snack around 3:00pm.
I brought with me some baby carrots and roasted red pepper hummus, a container of honey Oikos Greek yogurt, and three rosemary sesamy Rustic Flatbreads.
This was all delicious; however, by the time I was finished my shift at 2:30pm, I was hungry again. In addition, I had to wait and extra forty-five minutes before picking Casey up from work today (he had an extra job to finish) and I've been feeling under the weather today. So...I decided to wait out the forty-five minutes at Tim Horton's eating a large hearty vegetable soup and whole wheat bun on the side.
The soup really helped my throat feel better and lasted me just long enough for Casey to finish his work.
Before I knew it, we finally got home. I'm planning on taking a small nap before heading out to sushi with Casey and a friend. After sushi, I'm going to a bootcamp session formed by Cheryl at Happy is the New Healthy. I'm super excited to get my butt kicked, but I'm really hoping this under-the-weather feeling won't hold me back.
