Woah, welcome back friends! It's been a crazy day, but we all survived...right?
Incase you were wondering where I went, I was called in last minute this morning to supply for a child care assistant who went home sick earlier today. It meant I'd have to put my morning routine on hyperdrive, but I accepted the shift. Hence my lack of blogging today!
Well, what I lacked in blogging I more than made up for in pictures. Here you go!
As I was in a rush, breakfast had to be on the go this morning. I blended together a cup of blueberries, one scoop of Bodylogix vanilla protein powder and a cup of unsweetened almond milk for a smoothie to drink on the drive. I had the chance to use my brand new shaker I bought yesterday.
I also had just enough time to pack an easy lunch to eat with the kids. I brought a salad with broccoli, shredded cabbage and fig balsamic dressing, an apple, and some light mozzarella cheese in my PackIt to keep everything cold!
I also stopped by a Tim Horton's on my lunch break to fuel with some iced coffee made with milk.
I had Casey prepare an easy dinner for us to eat when I got home from work. I didn't have much tim between work and my show jumping lesson, but I knew I needed some substance to keep me going. Casey cooked up some prepared spinach and cheese cannelloni with tomato sauce and parmasean cheese.
They weren't very big and I didn't want my stomach to be too full for riding, so I only took five. The above photo was taken on a snack-sized plate...not a dinner plate! Isn't it trippy?
Dinner was delicious, but in no time I was rushing out the door to make it to my riding lesson. My riding partner, Janine, brought her boyfriend out this week to snap some photos of us riding. I was elated to see some photos of Billy and I turn out!
Warning: Photos of Billy may cause spontaneous ooo-ing, aww-ing, and inexplicable warm fuzzy feelings!
It was a pretty hectic day, but it all ended well with a great riding lesson with lots of learning opportunities as per usual.
Tomorrow is going to be another busy day. I work all day so I'll be able to blog breakfast, but I won't be able to blog again until dinner. Oh well...see you all tomorrow!
