Arizona

We're really hurting for groceries today, particularly in the breakfast department! Our only real options this morning were one egg, a few slices of frozen bread, and two instant oatmeal packets. I wasn't feeling like oatmeal this morning, so I let Casey have them and I made myself one slice of French toast using up the last egg and one of the frozen slices of bread.

The bread I used was my leftover flaxseed bread and I managed to find some cinnamon in our spice cupboard to sprinkle on top.

After breakfast, Casey and I took Zeke for a relaxing walk around a cemetary near our house. It wasn't too hot out, but the humidity was spiking already. I can't get over just how humid it is this summer! Zeke was dead halfway through and we had to cut our walk to about 25 minutes to take him back home.

I made myself a quick lunch before getting ready for work. I found some odds and ends around the kitchen to pull together a decent lunch. I used up the last of the lentil vinaigrette salad I bought last night at the grocery store along with some Rustic Flatbread crackers with cheddar and mozzarella cheese. I also drank the last bit of an opened Arizona can from last night.

And now it's time for me to head off to work! Working on a Sunday really blows, even if you haven't worked much all week. For some reason Sunday just feels like it's meant for relaxing and preparing for the week ahead, not working!
