A Second Anniversary Gift

I had a tasty mid-morning snack today right around 10:30am. As usual, I had my apple slices and light mozzarella cheese. Yum!

After taking Zeke for a nice hour-long walk, I spent the rest of my morning laying on the couch with Zeke watching Destination Truth reruns.

Around 1:00pm, I was starting to get hungry for lunch. I made myself three fresh rolls stuffed with imitation crab meat, cucumber, carrots and broccoli sprouts. I had some sweet Thai chili sauce for dipping.

They were delicious, but unexpectedly filling! I only ended up finishing three of them because they were so jam-packed with veggies and protein.

I spent the afternoon shopping for materials for an anniversary gift I wanted to make for Casey. I spent as little money as possible and made it primarily out of paper. I found a frame for $8 at Wal-Mart, bought specialty green paper similar to our wedding colours for $5, and did the rest myself.

I found a gorgeous silhouette of two lovebirds online, then printed them onto specialty cardstock with our names and wedding date. I simply threw it in the frame and voila! One stunning, straight-from-Etsy-looking anniversary present for under $15!

I rounded our my afternoon with a quick Bodyrock session to get my sweat on before Casey got home. It looked a little something like this...
