Zeke's vet appointment went smoothly. He is never really worried about the vet clinic itself, just the change of going to a new location with different sights and smells. He sat between my legs the entire time while we waited for the vet to call us in.
Zeke got all of his shots, heartworm medication, and a spray to help his foot-licking problem. The vet and I both think the licking is a behavioural/psychological problem, but he gave me a spray that creates a barrier over his skin to environmental irritants like pollen just to be safe.
I had an apple and a few slices of mozzarella cheese during the morning program and a medium sugar-free vanilla iced coffee made with milk while driving to the vet clinic, so I wasn't famished by the time I got home.
I made myself a salad for lunch and added a few leftover ribs from last night for extra protein. I used a delicious Kraft Fig Balsamic salad dressing that I discovered a few weeks ago for my salad.
Everything was so tasty! I loved the combination of tartness from the Fig Balsamic dressing with the sweet honey barbeque sauce on the ribs.
Zeke and I have just enough time to head out for a half-hour walk before I have to go to work!
