Good morning everyone!
Zeke and I woke up super early this morning to fit in a nice long walk before I head out for a 11-hour work day. We hiked the trails behind our apartment complex for 25-minutes, enjoying the cool crisp air while walking. I actually don't mind the cool nights and hot days we've been having lately, although it does make choosing an appropriate outfit for a long day difficult.
When we got back, I wasn't hungry for breakfast in the slightest. I'll pin that on having such a late and filling dinner last night. I didn't want to go to work on an empty stomach, so I made myself a small bowl of yogurt anyway.
Because I plan on eating breakfast at some point today instead of skipping it altogether, I prepped a bowl of oatmeal that can be heated up in the microwave when I get to job #2.
I combined half a cup of large flake oats, half a cup of egg whites, half a tablespoon of milled flaxseed, and one packet of Stevia for sweetness. This breakfast is excellent to get on the run because it cooks in less than 2 minutes in the microwave and it will keep me full for hours.
That's all I've got for now. I'm bringing my laptop with me so I can blog while between job #2 and job #3, also known as my "lunch break". See you then!
