What's really strange? Eating lunch in your car just outside Starbucks so you can use their internet for 15 minutes to write a quick blog post. What's even stranger? Someone sitting on the curb next to your car with a laptop doing the exact same thing! Awkward.
On a positive and less creepy note, I was able to use my new PackIt for the first time today! It kept my lunch relatively cool considering it was sitting in my boiling hot car for nearly 6 hours.
Well done PackIt--Bee Goes Bananas approved!
I brought a very simple, nutritious lunch today. I packed a big baggie of raw veggies--celery, cauliflower and sugar snap peas--along with some roasted red pepper hummus.
I also threw in a bowl of Greek yogurt for added protein.
I did also eat a small bran muffin during my shift at work, but it went unphotographed. It was one of the muffins I made ages ago and froze a few in the freezer. Looks like freezing muffins comes in handy when you're in a rush!
Now it's time for me to move along to shift #3. Fortunately, we're baking delicious chocolate chip cookies in the after school program today. Time should fly by! I'm also meeting up with two of my best friends after work to squeeze in a much-needed archery session. Casey is tagging along as well. Considering he was the one who taught me archery way back when we first started dating, so I guess I have to bring him along!
