I slept in this morning past 8am for the first time in...months!
I have ended a great chapter in my life (before and after school program supervisor) and am beginning a brand new chapter (full-day summer program supply staff).
I am finally learning to control my sleep problems and am having many more restful nights.
I am continuing to make strides toward clean eating and enjoying exercise through lifestyle choices rather than monotonous trips to the gym.
I used my show jumping development riding lesson this week as an excellent learning opportunity. After Billy attempted to jump the 5-foot fence surrounding the ring on several occassions, the "old me" would have probably cried, ended the lesson, and been too terrified to continue. Instead, I kept my cool and ended up regaining control, which led to a great lesson with many opportunities to learn and grow as a rider!
