Missed Our Chance

I woke up bright and early this morning, and took my time getting ready before taking Zeke out for a walk. Unfortunately due to my dawdling, we missed our opportunity to go for a long walk. Before I knew it, the skies opened up and it started pouring!

Our long walk turned into a quick pee with an umbrella in hand. I made myself a banana cream cheese wrap instead.

I love these versitile little whole wheat wraps! They go good with everything and they're small enough for portion control.

I headed off to work and picked up some program groceries on the way home. The rain has stopped for now, so I'm going to go out for a run before it starts again. I need to start "training" for the Give the Gift of Life 5K Run I'm registered for. It may be my first official race, but I don't want to look like a newbie running it. That being said, I'm not a natural runner and I will actually have to train to be able to run this 5K race at a somewhat reasonable pace.
