Like An Angel

I'm finally home from one of the busiest days of my life! After working 11 hours between three shifts at two different jobs, I was excited to head out to see some of my best friends and shoot a little archery.

On the way to the house, Casey and I stopped by A&W for dinner. Since I drove straight from work to her house, only stopping to pick Casey up on the way, I needed a little something to calm my growling tummy.

I ordered a teen burger and it was like they wrapped an angel up in a tin foil wrapper. What a gorgeous looking burger! I'm not going to lie, it tasted just about as good as it looks in this picture. I just took off the top bun and ate it open-faced--a much better bun-to-meat ratio that way!

Casey, our friend Jay and I did some shooting for about an hour in the scorching hot sun before calling it a night. I had a few leftover slices of pizza that they had cooked up for themselves along with a small garden salad on the side (unphotographed).

Pizza and burgers in the same night, you may wonder? I know, but it gives me a bit of comfort knowing I didn't eat a large portion of the crusts on these two slices of pizza. Oh well, I guess tomorrow will just have to be a very health-focussed day!
