I had a super cool dream last night! I was a professional surfer living in a tent on a beach so that I could wake up early and catch the best waves. I think I was practicing for a big tournament or something, but I woke up before I could compete. And somehow, I could "drive" through the waves as if my surfboard was similar to a car.
The strangest think about this dream is that I've never surfed before and don't really plan on surfing in the future. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to learn how to surf; however, I don't live anywhere near surfable water. I think I love the idea of surfing rather than what will probably actually happen if I was to learn how to surf...aka major wipe-outs!
I guess I won't be ripping it up out there any time soon!
After waking up and realizing I wasn't actually a pro surfer, I took Zeke out for our usual 30-minute morning walk. We took the trails behind our apartment complex and loved it!
When we got home, I made myself a slice of flaxseed toast with organic peanut butter and honey.
I love how nutty this toast tastes with all of the flaxseeds. It really gives the bread a unique flavour!
I also prepared a bowl of cinnamon protein-packed oatmeal to bring with me to work. I plan on eating this in between my morning shift and job #2 today, around 9:30am.
Along with having another super long 11-hour work day today, I also have to go back to the health clinic to have my second step of the TB Skin Test examined during my lunch break. I will be sure to snap photos of my lunch, but I won't be able to post until tonight around dinner time. Expect to see a lunch-dinner combined post tonight.
Question: Do you know how to surf? Would you ever consider learning? Have you ever had one of these dreams about a sport that you don't know how to play?
