I hope you've all been enjoying your Sunday! I've got a lot accomplished so far today. I had to wake up early to take Casey to work a short shift. Turns out he had to leave early due to rain anyway, so he walked home during my pilates class.
When I got home from driving him to work, I made myself two small slices of flaxseed toast with peanut butter and honey on one slice, and peach jam and a hint of margarine on the other slice.
I headed out to my final jumpboard/springwall pilates class where I got a pretty intense workout. I really needed my butt kicked for how little I worked out last week and this class certainly didn't disappoint.
On the way home, I stopped by Starbucks to use my new gold card. I bought myself a tall caramel light frappuccino to sip on during the drive home. I also bought a tall mocha light frappuccino for Casey...because at this point he had just texted me that he walked an hour and forty minutes home from work after his shift was cancelled.
Casey and I took Zeke for a nice hour-long walk before heading out to do some grocery shopping. We ended up buying about three times the amount of food shown in the picture below. We needed to stock up on a lot of basics, so our grocery bill racked up to over $150 by the time we were done. Yikes!
That did mean we had plenty of food for lunch by the time we got home. We decided to make fresh crab rolls, so I started slicing up carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, and imitation crab meat.
I made myself four fresh rolls using crab meat and gobbled them up in record time. They were delicious!
I used two different sauces for dipping--the usual Sweet Thai Chili sauce, and a new chipotle dipping sauce that we picked up to try out. Turns out they were both equally delicious and the results were a tie. Both sauces were different, but both very tasty!
I didn't get much of a sleep last night, so I plan on having a nap this afternoon before heading out to a party for all of the therapeutic riding instructors. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again and hanging out with the crew!
