Double Up

Good morning!

I woke up craving raisin bread this morning. We didn't have any in the house, but fortunately I sensed this craving would come up this week. I picked up a new product that I've never seen before--cinnamon raisin spread! Essentially, it's just a cinnamon-flavoured margarine to put on toast.

I toasted up one piece of whole wheat bread and transformed it using a bit of the cinnamon raisin spread and raisins.

It was an incredible combination and turned out perfectly!

I also had a small glass of chocolate milk with my toast before heading off to work.

When I came home from the morning program, I walked in to this strange sight.

Zeke was laying in the strangest position on the couch! He's such a weird dog. I guess it must have been comfortable because he didn't want to move even when I went into the living room camera in hand.

I quickly made myself a smoothie to make up for my teeny tiny breakfast this morning. I blended together 3/4 cup of frozen mixed berries, a handful of frozen baby spinach, half a cup of milk, half a cup of water, and half a packet of stevia.

The smoothie turned out delicious and refreshing. It really hit the spot!

As I was taking photos of me drinking the smoothie, I realized just how greasy my hair was. I can't believe I went to work looking like this!

Oh well, what can you do! I'll shower after I squeeze in a workout and do some laundry.

On a different note, I bought a brand new pair of Asics on Friday. My old shoes--Asics GT 2150--were losing their support and wearing through in a few places. I got a solid year out of them, including lots of hard workouts, long walks with Zeke, and almost every single day for work. Not bad!

I picked up the newer model of my old shoes called Asics GT 2170. Just a few numbers up from my old 2150s. I will never stray from these shoes. They work perfectly for my flat feet and over-pronation! I'm an Asics girl always and forever.

Question: What shoes do you wear for your workouts? Do you have flat feet, high arches, or neutral feet? Have you found your "perfect shoe"?
