It's been a bit of a snacky afternoon so far! I had a meeting right around noon, so I had to break lunch up into several parts. That being said, mini meals isn't always a bad thing. Hello metabolism-boosting mini meals!
My first mini meal consisted of half a cucumber sliced up and dipped into some Sweet Thai Chili sauce. If you haven't tried this combination yet, you have to do it soon! I swear, you'll want to finish the entire cucumber because it tastes that good.
Zeke must think it's delicious too!
I also had a container of Greek yogurt on my way out the door.
On my way home from the meeting, I stopped by McDonald's to pick up a $1 Medium Iced Coffee. It turns out the medium isn't much different than the large size, so I should probably stick to the medium. Less caffeine to make me a little less caffeine-crazy!
I got my usual sugar free vanilla made with milk. I should really start limiting myself to one per week because they're too addicting!
Zeke was upset when I got home from my meeting, so I had to comfort him for a little while. He doesn't like it when I have to come and go so many times in one day. Poor guy!
For my final lunch component, I grabbed a small bite to eat before heading off to the after school program. I munched on a few Organic Spelt with Flaxseed Crispy Pitas with a tablespoon of apple butter for dipping.
This is an excellent combination! The sweetness of the apple butter mixed with the salty pita crackers makes an excellent pair.
And off to work I go!
