I was craving pancakes last night and instead of eating them for dinner yesterday, I decided to make them for breakfast this morning. I made myself three whole wheat pancakes with extra egg whites for added protein topped with sliced banana and chia seeds.
I love the added crunch of the chia seeds combined with the texture of the bananas. Delish!
After breakfast, Zeke and I went for a nice long walk. I was still feeling sick, but I thought some fresh air could do me good. Zeke was more than happy to join me!
The weather was gorgeous and the sun was shining. Zeke couldn't have been happier to get outside and play in the green grass. I'm loving this weather! I hope it keeps up right into summer.
I don't work again today (yay March Break!), so my only plans are to relax on the couch and get better. I may throw in some orange juice and a nap to clear up this cold.
