I wasn't super hungry for lunch today because I had a smoothie I made using Arthur's Fresh Company Smoothies fruit and vegetable puree. As I'm typing this, I'm realizing I forgot to take a picture of the smoothie itself! Well...I essentially just blended some Arthur's puree with ice and poured it in a cup to take to work.
I packed in the fruit and veggies this morning with this delicious smoothie! I also had an organic Luna bar while I was at work, because I got really hungry halfway through my shift.
I basically had to mush up each bite in my mouth before swallowing because the bar ended up being a bit harder than I had anticipated.
For lunch, I made myself a super quick tuna salad by combining a can of tuna with a hint of barbeque sauce. I only ate about a third of it before giving up. The barbeque sauce was not doing it for me!
Instead, I made myself a chocolate peanut butter protein shake. I blended up 3/4 cup of chocolate milk, 1/2 cup of water, a banana and a small tablespoon of peanut butter. This hit the spot and was much better than the tuna salad!
Now, I'm off to work! I'm feeling much better today, but I'm looking forward to resting this evening and having tomorrow morning off.
Question: What do you do when something you make doesn't turn out quite as planned? Do you eat it anyway, or do you turn to something else?
