Rock You Like A Hurricane

I was a supply for the Before School Program again today, so I was up before the crack of dawn again. Luckily, I didn't work my usual morning shift today, so I have a six hour span between the Before School Program and the After School Program to shower and take Zeke for a walk.

I made myself a cup of orange pekoe tea with Splenda and headed off to work. Look, my tea is brewing up a storm! Doesn't it look like a mini hurricane?

I had a packet of instant oatmeal with the kids in the program for breakfast and ate an omega-3 hardboiled egg when I got back home.

When I got home from work, Casey was already home from his shift. He got called in really early last night, so we both walked Zeke together.

Zekers liked the mild weather, but we was filthy with slush, dirt, salt and road grime by the time we got down the block.

We stopped at Starbucks on our way to pick up a tall skinny mocha for Casey and a tall nonfat no whip half sweet white chocolate mocha for myself. The barista accidentally made mine a chocolate mocha instead of white, so we snagged a free drink out of our visit! Don't you love it when that happens?

I'm going to get back to relaxing and writing up some gust posts for other healthy living bloggers for the rest of the afternoon. I'll let you know when they are officially posted! Then it's off to the After School Program and out to SARI for the night.
