Tonight, I really had to push through exhaustion and fatigue to get in today's workout. I think I need to start doing these workouts in the morning or during the day because I'm beat by the time the evening rolls around. Before we get to the workout, I'll talk to you about dinner!
I had a mini pizza made with a whole wheat English muffin today at the After School Program, so I wasn't crazy hungry for dinner when I got home. Instead of a meal, I made up a protein shake using a banana, a cup of frozen strawberries, a half cup of skim milk, a half cup of water, and half a scoop of strawberry protein powder.
The shake was delicious and very filling. It felt as if I had eaten an entire meal with one tall glass of this protein shake!
Oops! I made a little bit too much, so I drank a bit of the extra shake and poured out the rest. Next time, I'll decrease my portion sizes just a hair.
I also had a slice and a half of whole wheat cinnamon raisin bread later in the evening for a little treat. Yum! Now, onto the workout...

I was pretty much dead after this one! As I said before, I was pretty exhausted to begin with and pushing myself through such a difficult workout was a killer. I have middle of the day off work tomorrow, so I will have plenty of time to complete tomorrow's workout before nighttime. Sounds like a plan!
