Slow Saturday

It's so nice to have days off in a row! I actually don't have today off, but I don't work until 5pm so it feels like I have the entire day off. The three of us took our sweet time getting out of bed this morning. We turned our alarm clocks off and let the sunshine tell us when to get up.

Around 8:30am, we finally pulled ourselves out of bed for some breakfast. I made Casey some eggs and toast because he thinks I make the best over easy eggs in the world. Not going to lie, they are pretty fabulous! I had a side of Chobani blueberry Greek yogurt with my egg and toast.

After breakfast, the three of us headed out for a long walk. About halfway through, we stopped at Starbucks to pick up some hot beverages to warm us up. I had a tall extra foamy skinny vanilla latte and Casey had a tall skinny peppermint mocha.

We've been buying Starbucks a bit more than usual lately because I'm trying to earn enough points to get my own personalized Starbucks gold card. After today's drinks, I'm only 8 points away from getting my very own card!

Now we're off to stock up on groceries for the week. We may also look into some Christmas decorations to deck our halls this holiday season!
