I woke up bright and early to take this guy for a walk. The air was crisp and cool; no sweating on this walk!
When we got back to the apartment, I knew I needed to chop up and freeze the strawberries that were starting to turn mushy in our fridge. I sliced and diced away until they were all in a freezer bag.
As I had mentioned yesterday, I haven’t had much of an appetite lately. I was thirsty from our walk, so I decided to make a fresh smoothie using the strawberries I had just cut up. I made a strawberry banana smoothie using one banana, a handful of strawberries, a cup of skim milk and a little squirt of vanilla Nesquik syrup.
The smoothie turned out great and satisfied both my thirst and my hunger.
My plans for the rest of the day include taking a trip to the barn to ride, working an afternoon/evening shift, driving about 30 minutes out of town to deliver our old coffee tables to a buyer, driving back to Casey’s hometown to switch vehicles with his family, then finally making it back home to sleep. It’s going to be a busy day! I’ll try my best to keep you up to speed.
